DESCRIPTION
Pieve Ligure is a small town hidden amidst the slopes of the Ligurian Riviera of Levante, in the middle of the stretch of the Riviera known as the "Gulf of Paradise" for the beauty of its unspoilt nature and splendid panoramas: it partly expands along the seaside (where the train station is located, only 100 m from the Villa) and is partly perched on top of a steep hill, where the houses rise up from the green olive and pine-tree groves or the yellow mimosa plants. The Villa is part of a small district that directly overlooks the sea, made up of 7 villas with private gardens and porter's lodge, hidden amidst the vegetation, which has as its centre a red-soil tennis court surrounded by age-old trees. It is a building from the mid-1950s, which has just recently been renovated, with a beautiful garden that slopes down towards the sea, equipped with many open-air lounge areas, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panorama stretching out as far as the eye can see, where the sea and the sky become one: an area with sofas, a shaded courtyard for outdoor dining with barbecue and a sun-terrace. There is a private access to the sea: stone stairs lead down along various terracings amidst the Mediterranean shubbery, until reaching a large rock, flat and long (part of the stairs do not have a railing and the access way, although not difficult, is suitable for people who are in good physical shape and we also advise that small children always be supervised by an adult). The rock can also be reached by following along another access way on foot (approx. 10 minutes), by exiting the property. The interiors of the Villa are well-kept and elegant on the ground floor, comfortable and cosy on the first floor. Only 1 km away is the beach of Sori, all the popular locations in the area (Recco, the medieval village of Camogli, the National Park of Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo with an exclusive Golf course and the Cinque Terre) are just a short distance away.
