DESCRIPTION
Santa Maria Annunziata is an old village close to Massa Lubrense which is full of historical anecdotes and just a handful of houses, with their typical vaulted roofs, protected by the remnants of the old castle, Castello Aragonese, and the ancient cathedral. Sitting on a promontory of the Sorrentine peninsula looking on one side towards the Island of Capri and Punta Lagno, and on the other towards the harbour at Marina della Lobra and the entire gulf of Naples dominated by Vesuvius. Villa la Rocca is so-called for its panoramic position, lying on the side of the Annunziata promontory that looks towards the gulf of Naples, and from its large terraces you can enjoy a magnificent panorama and some wonderful sunsets. The villa is in a small residential complex of 5 villas, each of which has its own private entrance directly from their garden. The peace and quiet and the wonderful panorama make this villa an ideal place to spend your holidays, as it lies within a short distance from all of the most interesting cultural and scenic sights of the area. Sorrento is just 10 kms away, Positano 18 kms and the centre of Massa Lubrense 3 kms, where you will find food shops and public services.
