DESCRIPTION
The original structure of Villa Usignolo dates back to 1600. It has been transformed over the course of the centuries and now looks like a magical castle situated on the top of a hill, from where you can enjoy a splendid view in any direction you look. The villa is surrounded by an ancient garden of cypress trees and large green outdoor areas. Opposite the main entrance you will find an Italian-style garden with a charming pond. The majority of the interiors have been hand-painted decorations from around 1920 by the previous owner, the countess Theo Zorzi, giving each room its own special personality. The current owner has wisely respected and preserved the unique atmosphere of the villa. In the spacious outdoor areas there is a pretty swimming pool of 7 x 15 m with a small annexe where you will find a small kitchen with fridge and a separate shower. The guests can directly access the villa from the car park by following along a path of approx. 100 m, while they can arrive by car directly at the villa to unload their luggage through the entrance that the owner uses. The owner lives in an adjacent house with completely separate entrance and areas. In addition to the peace and quiet of the location, the guests can also easily visit Florence (50 km) and Siena (20 km), as well as San Gimignano (10 km), Volterra and the entire Chianti Classico area.
