An attractive rural complex built of stone, consisting of the owners’ house (not used while guests are staying) and the annexes that make up our offer. Villa Gabbana is situated mid-way between Castellina in Chianti and Radda in Chianti, surrounded by the characteristically delightful Tuscan landscape. Around the house is a spacious and well-tended garden that slopes gently down to the swimming pool set in a splendid panoramic position. Guests have at their disposal a courtyard, the garden and the fine 8 x 16 swimming pool, a shaded private car park, washing machine and barbecue. The house is set in an excellent position for visiting the Chianti Classico area and the art cities of Florence and Siena. Just 8 km away are Castellina and Radda in Chianti offering shops of all kinds; Siena is 30 km away, Florence 40 km and Florence airport 60 km. In the vicinity are numerous restaurants offering local cuisine, and similarly numerous vineyards where guests can visit the cellars and buy the famous Chianti Classico wine directly on site. GROUND FLOOR: In the first annexe is a spacious room with windows all round which has been furnished as a living/dining room, complete with satellite TV, and adjacent kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher and freezer, with direct access from the courtyard, and 1 double bedroom with bathroom with shower. In the second annexe is 1 twin bedroom with bathroom with shower, more basic than the others, and with electric central heating.
In the basement area of the villa are 3 double bedrooms, all provided with en suite bathroom with shower, not communicating, and each with direct access from the courtyard through large French windows. |
