DESCRIPTION
The hills around S. Alessio are famous for being one of the most exclusive areas in the vicinity of Lucca, a city which, to this day, has maintained the elegance of its artistic heritage. Villa Allegra is situated at the top of a gentle hill, in a very panoramic position with a 180° view that offers a glimpse of the city of Lucca on the left. This 18th century villa is furnished with antiques and great care has been paid to every detail. It is a house that has been built to ensure complete serenity. The external veranda, with its beautiful views, can be accessed from the living room and kitchen. The perfume of the flowers enhances the pleasure of relaxing outside, maybe reading a book in the company of a glass of good wine, enjoying the sensations of times gone by. The villa has satellite TV, stereo system, washing machine and dishwasher. The domestic staff live in a small annex near the entrance gate. A second annex, with independent external access, situated on the opposite side of the villa, is occasionally used by the owners. The land around the villa is well tended, with fruit trees, a small vineyard and a vegetable garden. The swimming pool (6 x 12 m) is partly hidden by a hedge to ensure complete privacy. The geographical position is extremely convenient: the beaches of Forte dei Marmi are 35 Km away, Florence is 80 Km away and Lucca just 6 Km away. A one hour car journey will take you to the Cinque Terre. One feature that should not be forgotten is the local food and wine: the typical cuisine of Lucca with its wonderful, tempting flavours.
