DESCRIPTION
The property lies close to San Gregorio di Catania, a small village on the slopes of Mount Etna about 10 kms from the centre of Catania and about 5 kms from Acicastello, one of the best-known bathing areas along the Costa dei Ciclopi (Cyclops coast). This small nucleus of houses consists of the main villa, occupied by the owners, and 4 annexes along the sides of the beautiful garden, with trees, mediterranean and tropical plants, and lying in the centre the 6x12m shared swimming-pool. The 4 apartments have been recently renovated, filled with quality furniture and equipped with air-conditioning and Internet connection WiFi. Each apartment has its own private external area, where you can dine outside and relax in the grounds. They all have an independent entrance from the outside. The property lies in an ideal position for visiting the east coast of Sicily and the city of Catania. Taormina lies about 50 kms away and can be reached in about 40 minutes along the motorway; the nearest beaches are along the Costa dei Ciclopi: Acicastello and Acitrezza, and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. There a many good-quality restaurants in the area, both with prevalently fish menus as you go down to the coast, and with traditional sicilian dishes where you start to go up towards the traditional villages that you find climbing up towards Mount Etna.
