DESCRIPTION
The is the annex of a main villa which lies in large grounds bordering on the estate of the famous Villa Reale of Lucca, in the hills around Marlia, an area well-known for the presence of some of the most prestigous villas in the Lucca area. The annex has been completely renovated and enclosed by a large laurel hedge just a few metres from the beautiful old swimming-pool which is also occasionally used by the owners, who from June to September move to their summer house in Versilia. The furnishings consist of antique furniture and the property comes equipped with many accessories: heating, stereo with CD, satellite TV, dishwasher, washing-machine and microwave oven. In the private external area under a pergola guests have the use of an area furnished for dining outside, as well as a large sun-bathing terrace, part of the large garden and a car-parking area. The old town centre of Lucca is about 5 kms away, while the beaches at Versilia can be reached in about 30 minutes by car; you can also take unforgettable day-trips to the fortresses in Garfagnana or to see the precious marbles at Apuane, and everywhere you come across typical local trattorias where you can enjoy genuine tuscan cuisine. Not forgetting the wines from Lucca which are reaching very high quality levels.
