DESCRIPTION
In ancient times Praiano was part of the territory of the seafaring Republic of Amalfi and was used as a holiday resort by its powerful bishops. Le Arcate consists of part of an old 17th century villa and was probably already used in those days as a guest house for holidays. The facade is characterized by imposing columns on which the arches of the loggia rest and it is from these arches that the name of the property has come, while on one side of the house you will find a large panoramic sunbathing terrace, partly shaded and furnished for dining outside. The apartment has been carefully renovated bringing to light the niches and the old stuccoes that ornate the central part of the vaults, and is furnished with taste with valuable furniture. It is furnished with the most modern conveniences: TV, washing-machine, dishwasher, air-conditioning, stereo with CD player, barbecue, internet connection WIFI. Le Arcate offers a private, open-air car-parking space included in the price and the possibility of booking a second pay car-parking space. It lies right in the center of the village and on foot you can reach a food shop and the bus stop for the bus that links Praiano to the beach at La Praia and to Positano.
