DESCRIPTION
The hills around the old city centre of Florence have inspired many artists from several different countries, and the harmony of colour and form has been represented in various different painting styles by some of the most famous artists. Standing on the terrace or in the garden of La Piazzetta you can understand what inspired them as you admire the natural panorama that slopes down to the renaissance city centre of Florence. The house is about 3 kms from the city, on the edge of a large olive grove where they have built a 6x12 m swimming-pool, used only occasionally also by the owner, along with a shower and bath area. The garden, typically tuscan, has roses, azaleas, and mediterranean plants sloping down in a series of attractive terraces. La Piazzetta lies in a quiet area close to several 17th century villas, and has an independent entrance from the road that leads straight onto the terrace. The inside of the house has been completely renovated and has high-quality furniture. The living-room is equipped with air-conditioning that cools the whole of the ground floor, and other equipment includes dishwasher and washing-machine in the large kitchen, and stereo with CD player and TV in the living-room.
