DESCRIPTION
This is an old rural hamlet that goes back to medieval times in one of the most attractive areas in Chianti, about 5 kms from Barberino Val d'Elsa. The hamlet is now a working farm that produces excellent quality wine and olive oil, where they have renovated four apartments, carefully preserving the original architectural characteristics. In the large garden in amongst centuries-old olive trees, you will find a shared swimming-pool of 7x14 m, with a panorama of the Chianti hills. Each apartment has its own outside area with table and chairs for relaxing or dining outside and every apartment has been furnished with typical local furniture of very good quality and equipped with most modern comforts. Close to La Fattoria are excellent restaurants serving local cuisine. Florence is about 30 kms away, Siena 35, San Gimignano 20. In Poggibonsi, the largest local town, which is about 10 kms away, there are several supermarkets and all the other services you might need.
