DESCRIPTION
La Contessa Azzurra lies just a few kilometres from Sorrento and is a particularly high quality villa with refined fittings and luxurious, spacious bedrooms worthy of the most demanding guests. The villa's name comes from a memorable film about the 'dolce vita' of Naples. The recent renovation has restored the villa to its original splendour. Due to its special position, lying on the ridge of a hill that dominates the entire Gulf of Naples, the villa enjoys a panoramic view through 180 degrees from Naples to Vesuvius and on to Capri giving the sensation of being on a transatlantic ship, which was probably the inspiration behind the ideas of the architect who designed it. The villa is always caressed by sea breezes and there is absolute tranquillity and privacy here: the romantic sunsets are sure to be remembered. It stands in a strategic position for visits to all the best-known sightseeing and cultural visits, from Naples to Positano and Pompei. The asymmetric deck-level swimming-pool (23x14m) has a hydromassage area, and is crossed by a bridge meant to give you the sensation of projection towards the sea and the view. The ample terraces are furnished with deckchairs and sunshades. Besides dream holidays, this villa is also available for ceremonies and meetings: please ask for an specific estimate of the cost. All of the bedrooms are equipped with TV (flat screen), air-conditioning, cable radio, fridge-bar, and a high-speed internet connection.
