DESCRIPTION
La Fattoria del Rospo is a nice farmhouse just a few kilometres from Florence, which is only ten minutes away by car, and the farmhouse stands at the centre of a farm of 20 hectacres, right at the start of the historic Chianti Classico zone, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods. The owners, after many years abroad, have returned to their family home and have been dedicating themselves totally to the farm, using only biological techniques, and keeping the identity and uniqueness of their estate, creating wines the natural and traditional way, authentic and of high quality, which have become widely known and have received international recognition, along with a high-quality olive-oil. A few years ago they restored the part of the farmhouse where they live containing the granary, and have transformed it into a rustic, comfortable apartment for guests, in perfect harmony with the farming atmosphere: it's on two floors linked by a convenient spiral stair, and has large light rooms overlooking the field next to the entrance, where you can dine outside, or towards the rear, where 50 metres away is a nice, fenced swimming-pool (6x12m), in a panoramic position with a view of the vineyards and olive groves and of the hills of the Val di Pesa. The atmosphere you breathe here is relaxed and tranquil, taking you back to the rhythms of a kind of lifestyle which is still tied to the land and to nature.
