DESCRIPTION
Dimora Relax is an ancient XVII century aristocratic building that once belonged to a powerful family of ship owners, the Mollo family, traces of whom can still be seen in the coat of arms placed above the entrance. Dimora Relax is situated in the center of a pleasant little village in the municipality of Massa Lubrense, in the heart of the Sorrento Peninsula. The whole property has recently been carefully renovated maintaining the charm of the ancient building without forgoing the pleasure of modern furnishings and all the latest mod cons, creating a luxury residence. An ancient courtyard is enclosed within the U-shaped building which opens on one side to offer a stunning panoramic view of the village and the sea, making this both a private and fascinating place. Part of the courtyard is furnished as a dining area for eating “al fresco” and also has comfortable outdoor sofas. The other part contains a delightful private swimming pool (6 X 3 m) with whirlpool, covered with bronze colored mosaic tesserae. In addition to the courtyard, the Palazzo has a number of large panoramic solarium-terraces supplied with quality outdoor furnishings so that guests can relax in all the various outdoor areas of the property at any time of the day. An unmissable experience: aperitifs on the solarium-terrace at sunset. It is possible to walk to a nearby Trattoria whose specialties include typical local dishes. On request, local cuisine can be provided at the property, for an extra charge. The indoor areas are tastefully furnished with great attention paid to even the smallest detail. The bedrooms are fitted with furniture designed by Roche Bobois which bestows a touch of exclusiveness to every room. The large lounge and dining room has big full-length windows that look directly onto the courtyard. Massa Lubrense is just 2 Km away, whilst Sorrento is 8 Km away. The property is located in a strategic position for daily visits to all the major places of interest on the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts. One of the musts for any vacationer is a day trip by boat to explore the beautiful coastline of the Sorrento peninsula. On request it is possible to hire a private boat.
