DESCRIPTION
Casale degli Olivi is situated amidst the hills that close the northern plain of Lucca, in an area where, thanks to its particularly favourable climate for growing vineyards and olive trees, many farms began to appear as far back as the 1500s, together with numerous important historic villas. Overlooking the hillslopes with splendid views of the plain of Lucca, only 16 km away, surrounded by a large grove of oak and olive trees and is set inside an estate that not only produces excellent olive oil, but also vegetables, fruit and honey. Recently renovated, the casale has been divided into four very spacious apartments, of various size and all of which are independent. In the restoration work prestigious materials were used with high quality results; the ceilings with wooden ceiling beams and the terracotta floors reflect Tuscan tradition, as do the antique furniture and "pietra serena" fireplaces, perfectly combined with the equipped kitchens, the Carrara marble bathrooms, some with jacuzzi bathtubs, the style of the décor and the attention which has been given to every last detail, create an elegant, cosy and very comfortable atmosphere. All the apartments have wireless Internet access and a shared laundry room available with washing machine and iron. The outside garden is very well kept and full of flowers, with private equipped areas for outdoor dining for each apartment, a beautiful shared swimming pool, a wood burning oven for baking bread and pizzas and a barbecue. Exclusive rental of the Casale for a large group is possible (for a total of 15 bedrooms), also for weddings and conferences: in this case, in addition to enjoying all the spacious living-rooms in the various apartments, a large outdoor shared area with tables for dining will be made available as well as the cellar, which can be used as a dining room and an additional kitchen next to the wood burning oven. Fiore degli Olivi (see on our site), an independent house that sleeps 5 and has its own swimming pool, is located on the same property, around 20 meters away from the Casale.
