It was Guy de Maupassant who wrote: if somebody had just one day to spend in Sicily and asked me "What should I go and see?", I would reply without hesitation: "Taormina". You might think it's just something to go and see, a view, but it's a view with everything in it that might have been created to seduce the eye, brain and imagination. Taormina is not just a landscape with the summit of Mount Etna in the background, it's a heritage of art and culture that has made it famous throughout the world. Casa De Luna lies in the old town centre just a short walk from the main street, hidden in a tranquil back-street, and is a comfortable and elegant apartment on three levels, furnished with antiques of very good taste and equipped with all modern comforts: air-conditioning in the bedrooms, telephone, dishwasher, TV and stereo with CD player. To get to the beach, the beautiful bay called Baia di Mazzarò, it's best to take the funicular railway about 200m from the house, while for parking the car you should use the pay car park about 800m away. The airport of Catania can be reached in about 40 minutes by car, via the motorway that links Messina and Catania.
