Venice is the gateway to the region of Veneto, a charming area dotted with famous, beautiful towns and cities such as Verona, Padua and Vicenza where you will find great artistic masterpieces and palaces that are unique. Nearby are the Dolomite Mountains and great lakes as Lake Garda, to visit.
Venice, the capital of this region, is known as the ‘lagoon city’. It is crisscrossed by more than 150 canals and 400 bridges and is divided into 6 districts.
The old historical centre is situated 4 kms from the mainland on 118 islands of the Venetian lagoon, connected by road and rail bridges. By taking a boat ride on the Grand Canal, you will be able to appreciate the intricacy of the water ways, as well as to admire the many gothic and renaissance buildings.
There are so many things to see and do in Venice which is why it is one of the most visited cities in the world. Memories of which, will stay with you forever.

From the airport you can arrive in the city centre by water taxi, motor boat or by using the Venezia Air Terminal Bus. Venice utilises the water for the majority of its transport. Any of the above can be used to move around the city as well as the famous gondola. However, getting around on foot is the most efficient and charming way to see one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
We have a small selection of properties in Venice that have all been selected for their excellent location. They are located near historic buildings and public water transportation. They are elegantly furnished and provide an excellent ‘home’ from where to explore this captivating city.
From the terraces or windows of some of our apartments you will have good panoramic views of Venice while local markets, piazzas and restaurants are all close by.
