Rome & surrounding area
Rome, beside being the capital of Italy, is also the capital of the region of Lazio. The countryside
features volcanic lakes, undulating hills, vineyards and olive groves.
Rome has no equal in the world with classical, medieval, baroque and modern architecture amongst endless museums, churches, fountains and palaces. The historical centre is relatively small and therefore many of the main attractions are within walking distance of each other.
On the outskirts of Rome, you will find peace and tranquillity in the hills of the Castelli and the natural lakes of Bolsena, Vico and Bracciano which are volcanic basins set deep in wooded areas.
The Circeo National Park, just south of Rome, is a stretch of wonderful coastline offering sandy beaches, and is an area of natural beauty.

The city of Rome has a very good network of trains and buses which we recommend you use rather than a car. However, to discover the city on foot would be ideal!

OUR COLLECTION OF PROPERTIES
Apart from our elegant apartment which is located in central Rome, the remaining properties are to be found
in the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful countryside, a mere 40 minute drive from the centre and
surrounded by woods of hazelnut trees and lakes where one might sail and windsurf.
Some of our villas were built at the beginning of the 20th Century and are decorated in traditional style with classical pieces of furniture and an impressive collection of antiques.
Other properties may be renovated farmhouses and although they now include modern conveniences, have remained true to their original architectural features. Wood burning ovens, rustic furniture and large wooden tables for dining are typical features one can expect. The majority of these countryside properties have swimming pools and barbecues with outside garden furniture to enjoy the wonderful climate and impressive views day or night.
Our largest villa here can sleep up to 11 people and has a wonderful little lake with exotic plants and a large swimming-pool with an original half-moon shape.
